Shinefest 2010 is here!!!
Shinefest, New Single and More!
Hey everyone! I hope you are all doing great! We only have week left before Shinefest! Things are shaping up great! We had great shows this past weekend in Atlanta and Huntington! Thank you to everyone who came out to the shows!
My new single, "Drunk Enough", shipped to radio this week. So feel free to call and email your stations and tell them to be on the lookout for it! Also, send your friends to itunes to download "Drunk Enough" and if you haven't done so yourself you need to immediately!
We added 75 camping sites (for tents only) right below the stage in the softball field for Shinefest. They are only $20/site. If you haven't gotten your reservations for Shinefest you can do so at www.fontanavillage.com or call 828-498-2211.
If you haven't gotten your tickets yet go to Shinefest Tickets. The VIP tickets are going fast so get yours now. There is an unlimited amount of general admission tickets available for Friday and Saturday shows. They will be available Fontana Village Resort if you don't get your tickets in advance.
We will also have a new Shinefest T-shirt and Coozie. Both Men's and Women's style shirts and both Collapsible and Bottle Coozies will be available. So be on the lookout for those!

Shinefest, Atlanta and Huntington
We are playing in Atlanta this Friday night at Wild Bills. This Saturday we are playing in Huntington, WV at Riverfront Park with Colt Ford. So get all of your friends together and come out!
Shinefest is only a few weeks away! Tickets are on sale now at www.mattstillwell.net. Rooms are going really fast so be sure and reserve yours at www.fontanavillage.com. Remember there will be a lot more camping options this year.
Daily passes are $22.50/advance and $25.00 day of show. Weekend passes are $40.00/advance and $50.00/day of show. There are VIP tickets as well this year that will give you covered seating, great views, access to the artist section, and first access to the grill and bar.

Thank you all for going to download Shine Deluxe last week. We had great numbers! We peaked at #25 on the iTunes Country Album Chart and "Drunk Enough" had a ton of downloads thanks to you! Have you heard "Drunk Enough" on XM-11, the Nashville channel on XM? They are playing "Drunk Enough" a lot! You can request the song and give feedback a few different ways. It will help a ton for XM-11 to hear from my fans that you love the song and want to hear it more. Nashville and Mississippi
I'm playing in Nashville this Friday night at The Rutledge with a lot of other Average Joe's and Full Scope Entertainment artist like Ty Stone, Sunny Ledford, and Rachel Farley. The show starts at 7:00 and I will headline and go on around 11:00. Saturday I'm in Grenada, MS with Colt Ford and the Lo Cash Cowboys. I'm going on at 8:00.
My new album Shine Deluxe is going to be available next Tuesday June 15 on Itunes. It will feature 3 new songs. Drunk Enough, If I Can't Have You and a Re-mix of Dirt Road Dancing featuring Colt Ford. So get ready to start sending all of your friends to itunes to download Shine Deluxe!

Dirt Road Dancing Video and More!
We just put my new video for Dirt Road Dancing up on the websites. Go and check it out on mattstillwell.net, Facebook, and Myspace. Please share the link with your friends and help spread the word! We shot the video in Live Oak, FL at the Suwanee River Music Park. I wanted do a little something different with the video this time around. So we decided to dress up and get to dancing! I've got my brother in the video and my little friends Summer and JR as well. There is a big appearance made by the Dancing Outlaw himself; Jesco White. I hope you like it!!!
On another note, let me tell you one of the reasons why I love my job. I'm currently sitting at a truck stop eating and catching up on emails. The man sitting beside me has not only invented invisibility, a fool proof memory retaining system, and the technology that the tv's we use today have in them, but he also believes that the Russians caused Katrina and the Volcano eruption in Europe. He also warns against flying kites. Evidently they will cause a bridge to crumble in a heartbeat. That information comes from Mother England. Now he is going to religion. Matthew and Jesus are the subjects. Its all about POWER and you don't want to piss off God!
This my friends is why my job is great. Who else gets to eat at truck stops and get the kind of education that I've received here tonight? That's right! Me! I love my job

Aquapalooza and More
I'm not sure if you saw the schedule change but our July 10 show has been moved to Austin, TX. We are playing Aquapalooza with the Brad Paisley Tour. It's on Lake Travis in Austin and they are expecting it to be bigger than last year's event with Alan Jackson. I can't wait!
The Orange Peel is less than 2 weeks away! Next Saturday, May 29. So get all of your arrangements made. Call the baby sitter, get a room, call your mama, do whatever you have to do. Just come to Asheville next Saturday. The Buchanon Boys are opening the show. Get your tickets at. www.theorangepeel.net

It's Just MUDDN!
After Augusta on Friday we are heading down to Hortense, GA to play a mud bog with Colt Ford. I'm really looking forward to it! My northern band members are a little scared but I'm sure they will be just fine. It's just MUDDN!!!
